French Kiss Cocktail

Getting ready for Valentine’s Day? This sparkling cocktail will put your and your special someone in the mood for love!

2 oz Absolut Citron (or your favorite lemon flavored vodka)

3/4 oz Chambord

½ oz Grand Marnier

1 ½ oz Dry Sparkling Wine or Champagne

Lemon Twist for garnish

Fill a cocktail shaker with ice, add Absolut Citron, Chambord, Grand Marnier. Shake well then strain as your pour into a chilled martini glass or coupe. Top with Dry Sparkling Wine and garnish with a Lemon Twist.

Get into the holiday spirit with this simple but spicy cranberry cocktail!

5oz Cranberry Juice
3oz Absolut Citron – or your favorite lemon flavored Vodka
1/2oz Ginger Syrup*
A Splash of Cointreau or another orange flavored liquor
Fresh Cranberries and Lemon Twists for garnish
Makes 2

Fill a shaker with ice, add Vodka, Ginger Syrup a splash of Cointreau and Cranberry Juice. Shake well and strain as you pour into two chilled martini glass. Garnish with Fresh Cranberries and a Lemon Twist. Sip and enjoy!

*To make Ginger Syrup, put ½ cup sugar, ½ cup water and 1/3 cup peeled and sliced fresh ginger into a small saucepan over medium heat. Stir until sugar is dissolved and then simmer on low for 30 minutes. Strain syrup and discard Ginger (or save for another use). Let Syrup cool before mixing into cocktails. Store Ginger Syrup in a tightly closed glass jar in the refrigerator for up to two weeks.

Cocktail of the Week: Strawberry Citrus Smash

Strawberry Citrus SmashFor this cocktail cooler use ripe, fresh Strawberries for a pure taste of summer!

2 cups frozen Strawberries
¼ cup Rose’s Lime juice
¼ cup Lemonade
2 oz Lemon Flavored Vodka
1/4 oz Grand Marnier or another Orange Flavored Liquor

Clean and hull fresh strawberries at least a day in advance. Place the strawberries in a single layer on cookie sheet and put into the freezer until frozen. Once frozen, transfer the fruit to a freezer container or storage bag. Can’t wait? Pick up a bag or two of frozen strawberries at your local grocery store.

Put all of the ingredients in a blender and puree. Pour into tall glasses, garnish with Strawberry and enjoy!

Who doesn’t love watermelon on a hot summer day? This simple summer slushy is sure to brighten any party.

10 oz Lemon Flavored Vodka – I recommend Absolut Citron
6 cups of Chilled, Diced, Seedless Watermelon + 6 wedges for garnish
5 cups of Ice
¼ cup fresh Mint Leaves + more for garnish
Makes 6

Put all of the ingredients in a blender and puree. Pour into tall glasses, garnish with Watermelon wedges and Mint. Enjoy!
